Ontario Seniors’ Forum was established by like-minded seniors of Ontario in March 2017. We focus on the well-being of seniors of all cultures in Ontario and enhance their interaction and community participation through education, support and cooperation to improve their quality of life. We are a community-based organization focused on help making the world around us a better, happier place. Since its inception we have organized a number of exciting community-building events, and in-depth informative sessions on various topics ranging from the facilities and services available to the seniors to pending water crises in various regions of the world, from health and fitness activities to recreation and fun and entertainment activities. We understand that the provincial and municipal services play a vital role in caring seniors and it should be recognized as an important part of the health care continuum. In order to meet the needs of the expanding senior population in Ontario we need to improve understanding and communication with health authorities and municipalities to bring more focused program and services for seniors and our community in Ontario.
Ontario Seniors’ Forum is a non-political, non-religious, non-ethnic, non-gender biased charity organization which offers a wide variety of programs to fulfills the needs of seniors living in Ontario. We organize various social, physical, recreational, educational and informative events in Ontario. Social interaction Programs include celebrating or participating in cultural festivals, fundraising, evening with celebrities, gourmet dinners etc. Education and Informative Programs include informative lectures on various important issues concerning various vital services for seniors, on health-related issues like Diabetes, Alzheimer, cardiovascular disease and other illnesses, hot discussion on various national and international affairs, workshops on new technologies etc. Recreational Programs include one day trips to important places in and around GTA, Long distance trips to other cities in Canada and USA, visits to museums, etc. Health and Wellness Programs include fitness and exercise events, visits to parks and beaches, walking with friends and groups, outdoor games, aerobics and stretching exercises, meditation etc. Entertainment Programs includes musical programs, participation in festivals, and carnivals, holiday meals, bridge, chess, scrabble, movies etc.
We strive to encourage, energize and enrich the seniors to lead and maintain independent lives in their own home and family by alleviating their social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual role in the community. We recognize that seniors have experienced life more than others and have a lot to deliver counting on their unique knowledge and expertise in their own areas. We respect their unique and individual wisdom and encourage them to express and reassert their values to the community. We also believe that strategic partnership with other like-minded civic organizations and other service providers help us to synergize our efforts. We collaborate with them to develop innovative and diverse program opportunities, resource sharing, to bring innovative programs and services for our community in Ontario.

The Ontario Seniors’ Forum aims at improving the quality of life of seniors of all cultures in Ontario and their interaction and community participation through education, support and cooperation.
